Administration of Plans
We provide administration of estate plans, trusts, private foundations and family limited partnerships created by our firm. We also welcome clients who come to us for the first time with existing plans to revise or update, or for help in taking care of legal matters that arise when someone dies, with or without plans in place. Administration of plans may include:
- tax reporting and compliance for estates, trusts, private foundations, family limited partnerships and individuals
- advising the personal representative of an estate or trustee of a trust to gather, value, account for and distribute assets at death
- probate
- non-probate transfers of assets at death such as proceeds of life insurance policies, qualified retirement plans and annuities
- distribution of other assets at death as specified by wills and trusts
